Lorraine Elliott Moss, age 65 of Lyles, TN passed away on January 28, 2026 in Jackson, TN.
Mrs. Moss was born May 10, 1960 in Nashville, TN. She was a daughter of the late Lendric Elliott and the late Barbara Polk Elliott Burns. She worked for many years as a direct support professional with Developmental Services of Dickson County. Lorriane was a sweet lady and loved by all who knew her. She had a joyful spirit and would often try to make people laugh and smile. She loved shopping and enjoyed trips to the casino.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 6 of her siblings, Billy Elliott, Johnny Elliott, Chris Elliott, Eddie Elliott, Lemuel Elliott, and Frances Elliott.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Jimmy Vincent Moss; her children, Manuel Terez Elliott, Jillian Shevon Locklear (Brian Brandon), Jimmy Anthuan Moss (Dana), Jacque Antoinette Bates (Dontae); 3 siblings, Marilyn Washington, Troy Elliott, Joe Elliott; 6 grandchildren, Desiree, Gabriel, Jayden, Kylen, Anna-Mara, Teagan; great grandchild, Myla.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Blunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
