Ms. Maggie Lou Winn, age 93, of Burns, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024, at the LifeCare Center of Centerville.
She was born on February 15, 1931, in Dickson County to the late Mort and Besy Litton McGahey.
She was a longtime member of the Brown’s Chapel Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James H. Winn; her daughter: Tina Mitchell; and two brothers.
Survivors include her children: Ron Winn (Lindy) and Dwight Winn (Janet), both of Burns, Darrell Winn (Kim) of Lyles, and Shirley Harmon (Tommy) of Dickson; her brothers: Hubert McGahey of Lyles and Wilburn McGahey of Fairview; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Brown officiating. Visitation with the family will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Gossett Cemetery in Hickman County. https://taylorsince1909.com
