Mamie ‘Sue’ Butterworth, age 84, of Dickson, passed peacefully from this life on her birthday, March 20, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 20, 1938, in Pulaski, TN, to the late Hubert and Adell Coffman Stinnett.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister: Faye Hargrove; and her grandson: Andrew McGee.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years: George Butterworth; her sons: Steven Butterworth (Amy) of Pleasant View, TN and David Butterworth of Bon Aqua; her daughter: Dianna McGee of Bon Aqua; her sisters: Joann Davidson of Dickson and Linda Fralix of Columbia; her grandchildren: Amanda McGee, Justin McGee, Cory Butterworth, Cole Butterworth, Josh Butterworth, Ben Butterworth, and David Butterworth; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Linda Harp officiating. http://taylorsince1909.com Visitation with the family will also be Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place on Thursday, March 24, at 11:00 a.m. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, TN.
