Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1 PM at Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Gary Riley officiating. Place of rest will be in the Nosegay Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 15th from 4 to 8 PM at Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy and on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service.
Margaret Carlene Gates, age 76 of White Bluff, TN passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late John T. and Nora Phipps McCord and was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Elizabeth Faith Gentry, and her sister, Marilyn Blanks.
She had worked at Nashville Wire and was a member of Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her sons, Tony Gentry (Melissa) of Dickson, TN, John Gentry of Dickson, TN, Travis Davidson of White Bluff, TN; brother, Johnny Ray McCord (Dixie) of Burns, TN; 3 grandchildren, Blake Gentry (Sarah), Hannah Trimble (Matthew), Donald Jacob Bailey; great-grandson, Waylon James Gentry; best friend, Ruth Ann Vivrett of White Bluff, TN; several nieces and nephews.
