Mark Douglas Jones, 54 years of age, of White Bluff, passed away on February 10, 2025, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born on August 31, 1970, in Nashville, TN, to Lou Elkins Gafford and the late Emmett Hollis Jones.
In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by an infant son: Stephen Marcus Jones; his sisters: Shelly Jones and Sharon Hinkley; and his stepfather: Johnny Gafford.
Survivors include his daughter: Markee Garner (Jamie) of Jackson; his mother: Lou Gafford of White Bluff; his brothers: David Jones and Steve Jones, both of White Bluff, Danny Jones and Brad Prentice of Dickson and Matthew Prentice of Mississippi; his sisters: Sherry Bennett (Evan) of Lyles, Gail Knight (Jimmy) of Ashland City, Riki Jones and Brandy Prentice, both of Dickson; his grandchildren: Bailey Garner and Sophia Garner of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 13, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
