The world lost Marshall Henley Sullivan on Friday, February 14, 2025. Marshall, known as “Pop,” to his family and “Moto” to thousands of friends, leaves behind a wife Tammy Sullivan, daughters Amey Sullivan, Jamey Sullivan, two sons Chip Sullivan and Casey Grove and 3 grandsons Andrew “Stone” Grove, Ryder Grove, and Mavrick Grove, his brothers Kenny Sullivan and Matt Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Carley Grove and a brother Melvin Sullivan.

Marshall, a native of Dickson, TN, was a well-loved member of the communities of Burns and Dickson, as well as the Burns Church of Christ. He was the son of the late McClain and Rena Lampley Sullivan and a 1970 graduate of Dickson County High School.

Moto was a car salesman and sales manager and known as an honorable salesman by all his clients. He may be remembered by some for his monthly post of Marshall’s Babies in the Dickson Herald. Moto, an avid football follower as well as a youth football coach, was known by many of his players as “The fastest man in Dickson County”. He was an Olympic level pen “clicker” and could wear off the click of a pen in ten minutes. To all that knew him, Marshall Sullivan brought a charm to this world that is unmatched, and our world is a little less bright today without Marshall in it.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the Burns Church of Christ with Matt Hiatt officiating, along with family members speaking.
