Mary Elizabeth Manley died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at NHC of Dickson.
Liz was born July 18, 1939 in Dickson, to the late Jim and Louise Stewart Monsue in Humphreys County, Tennessee.
She met her late husband, John Frank Manley, and married in May of 1960. Liz loved her family and loved to cook for them. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Burns, TN.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Allen Dale (Pam) Manley, and Berry Wade (Tammy) Manley, both of Dickson, TN; one brother, James “Bobby” Monsue of Dickson, TN; two sisters, JoAnn Monsue Heath and Carol Thomas, both of Dickson, TN; three grandchildren, Justin (Holly) Manley, Jason (Shaina) Manley, and Nathan (Holly) Manley; and nine great-grandchildren, Kenna, Ruscan, Connor, Jacob, Henry, Kaylee, Isabella, Clyde, and Bristol.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Manley, and a brother, Clyde Monsue.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and will resume on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Manley will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m.; Bro. Eddie Thomas will be officiating. Interment will follow to Wills Cemetery.
