Mrs. Mary Magdalene Goodman, age 89 of White Bluff, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Mrs. Goodman was born on January 16, 1934 in Dickson County. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Haughty Garton Nash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William James Goodman, Sr. Mr. Goodman was a U.S. Army Veteran and owner of the Goodman Lumber Company.
For many years, Mrs. Goodman worked at the lumber company with her husband. She attended services at the Taylor Town Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Buel Nash and Billy Odell Nash; her sisters, Jessie Lou Nash Hunter, and Patsy Nash Hunter; and a grandson, David Nesbitt.
Mrs. Goodman is survived by her sons, William “Junior” Goodman (Connie) of White Bluff, TN, and Michael “Mike” Goodman (Treva) of White Bluff, TN; her daughter, Mary Kay Nesbitt (Ricky) of White Bluff, TN; her grandchildren, William Goodman (Lindsay) of Franklin, TN, and Matthew Nesbitt of White Bluff, TN; great-grandchildren, Ellen Goodman of Franklin, TN, Madelyn Goodman of Franklin, TN; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Taylor Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Taylor Town Cemetery in White Bluff, TN. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
