Mary Ruth Cathey, age 77, of Dickson, TN, passed away November 22, 2021 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.
Mary was born June 26, 1944 in Humphreys County, TN, to the late William Carl and Etta Marie (Bowen) Robertson.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Charles Edward Cathey (Leslie Walden) of Dickson, TN; two daughters, Judy Ann (Red) Shadowens and Susan Lynn Cathey (Samuel Luna Sr.), both of Dickson, TN; a brother, Howard Robertson (Brenda Bryant) of Waverly, TN; two sisters, Viola Bowen and Masel (Clayton) Cathey, both of Dickson, TN; twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cathey, and a brother, Larry Robertson.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and will resume on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Missionary Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mary Ruth cathey is my momol and that’s what I called her and I was so sad when she passed but that’s just when god wanted her back to spend time so we all love her and hope she’s good up there and watching us
