Mildred Joan (Davis) Storey, age 91, of Dickson, Tennessee passed away on December 31, 2022, quietly at NHC.
She was raised in the Pond community of Dickson County and was a 1949 graduate of Dickson County High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Donald W. Storey, her Parents Mamie (Powers) and Matthew Cleveland (Cleve) Davis, siblings Marvin, Jack, Ercell, Marian, and sisters-in-law Mary Elizabeth (Roth) Davis and Mildred (Street) Davis. Mildred said “They broke the mold when they made Joan”
She is survived by her sons Patrick B. Storey, Matthew W. Storey, grandson Bryan R. Storey and multiple, dearly loved, nieces and nephews and their families.
We would like to thank the nurses and caretakers at NHC for their wonderful care and attentiveness in her final days.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Union Cemetery (Marvin Additon), with Tommy Marvin officiating. http://taylorsince1909.com
