Mona Elizabeth Presgraves, 83 years of age, made her journey to her Lord and Savior at her residence on April 27, 2023.
Mona was born October 27, 1939, in Nashville, TN, to the late Theodore Bate and Ruth (Capps) Nipper.
She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Presgraves.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Theodore W. (Pat) Presgraves of Dickson, TN; daughter, Melissa Presgraves Ferrell of Dickson, TN; sister, Doris Anderson of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Niki (Blake) Deberry, Brian (Caitlin) Presgraves, Gene Ferrell, Todd (Melanie) Stokes and Kim (Mitchell Birdwell) Stokes; twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; her best friend of 75 years, Judy Samuelson; “special daughter” and long time caregiver, Janice Manor; and her long time companions, Bella and Tater.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Dickson Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 5, 2023, at Dickson Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. with Bro. Dennie Boren officiating. Interment will be at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Brian Presgraves, Gene Ferrell, Todd Stokes, Blake Deberry, Michael Anderson and Lance Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 910 Faith Rd, Dickson, TN 37055; where she was an active member.
