Murray Mitchell “Mickey” Daniel, Sr., age 79, of Burns, passed away on December 13, 2022, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born in Vanleer, TN, on February 18, 1943, to the late James Noel and Sadie Belle Dickson Daniel.
Mickey retired from the Hickory Steel Company after many years of service as an Iron Worker. He also bravely served his country for a short time in the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Daniel leaves behind the love of his life for over 56 years, Arbutus “Art” Tarlton Daniel.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his children: Mitch Daniel (Stephanie), and Loretta Wilson (Kent), both of Charlotte; his brother: Lonnie Daniel (Judy) of Clarksville; his sister: Brenda Fielder (Donnie) of Dickson; his grandchildren: Brandi Roberts of Nashville, Ryan Renegar of Burns, Danielle Terrell (Bryan) of Dickson, McKenzie Daniel and Aaleigha Daniel, both of Charlotte; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery of the Sylvia community. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until the time of service, also at the Funeral Home. http://taylorsince1909.com
