Myra Jean Weems, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on March 24, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center at the age of 87.
Miss Weems was born on January 26, 1939, in Lyles, Tennessee, to the late Claud Weems and Elizabeth Jane Chamberlain Weems.
She is survived by her brother, John Claude Weems of Bend, Oregon, her niece and nephews, Kristin Tyler of Bend, Oregon, Scott Tyler of Bend, Oregon, Christopher Jon Weems of Aliso Viejo, California, and Carsten Weems of Aliso Viejo, California.
Miss Weems devoted 33 years of her life to education, teaching in the Hickman County and Robertson County school systems, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues. In her retirement, she continued to enjoy staying active and meeting people through her 14 years of service at Stein Mart.
Miss Weems will be remembered for her dedication, her kindness, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.
