Nancy Ann Hart Lavender, age 88 of White Bluff, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at NHC.
She was born September 15, 1934 in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Louise Stanley Hart and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Charles Richard Lavender, Sr.; her son, Charles Richard Lavender, Jr.; her sister, Carlene Hart Stoehr.
Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Hume Fogg High School in Nashville. Nancy dearly loved her family and dearly loved to cook delicious meals for all of them. She loved family get-togethers with food on the table and happiness all around her. She loved to read and do puzzle books. She always had a book she was reading and a puzzle book she was working on. Taking care of her plants inside and her beautiful flower garden outside brought her great joy. She was very content and happy to sit on a bucket for hours pulling weeds.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Lavender Miller of White Bluff, TN; son, Steve Lavender (Lisa) of White Bluff, TN; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Jones (Gerald), Whitley Lavender, Ethan Lavender; 2 great-grandchildren, Aden Lavender, Annabelle Jones.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2 PM at Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Tommy Marvin officiating.
