Ms. Nora Margaret Hayes Suggs, age 89, of Slayden, passed away on March 18, 2024, in her home.
She was born in Dickson County on June 24, 1934, to the late Claudie and Loulie Hayes.
Ms. Suggs did factory work for most of her life. She attended the First Baptist Church of Slayden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Vernie Calvin Suggs; her son: Calvin Wayne Suggs; and her siblings: JC Hayes, Hubert Hayes, Harold Hayes, Millie Claudell Harris, and Daphene Hayes.
Survivors include her daughter: Sherry Hall (Van) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren: Amanda Chandler (Shane) and Aaron Suggs (Andrea) both of Dickson, Preston Suggs of Cumberland Furnace and Madison Ormerod (Alex) of California; as well as 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Smith officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial of ashes will take place privately in the Plainview Cemetery at a later date. https://taylorsince1909.com
