Ronald Lee Dugan, 64 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away August 8, 2026, at his residence.
He was born in Dickson, TN, on June 26, 1962, to the late Willard and Charlotte (Bishop) Dugan.
Faith was an important part of Ronald’s life, as he was a member of First Baptist Church of White Bluff. He was a good Christian man whose life reflected the values he held dear. His faith was evident in the way he loved others and in the grace with which he met the people around him. Ronald spent many years working as a sandblaster at the Teksid Aluminum Plant, where he was known for his dependable work ethic and willingness to do his part with pride. He also worked at Red’s Market in Hickman County for many years, where he became a familiar and appreciated face to coworkers and customers alike. He was respected for his honesty, steady nature, and the care he showed in all he did. He believed in doing a job well and in treating people with dignity and kindness. Ronald was also known for his joyful personality, as he was always laughing and had a playful sense of humor that made him a true jokester. His laughter was contagious and had a special way of bringing light and fun into everyday moments. He was very kind and giving, and found happiness in simple pleasures, especially listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Those who were blessed to know him will remember him as loving, kind, and funny, with a personality that could brighten even the hardest day. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Donald Dugan, Doug (Lynn) Bibee, Marcel (Billy) Clark, and Susan (Wayne) Alsobrooks; special friend, Sheila Dugan; god-son, Kiefer (Kailey) Lund; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Leslie Brooks.
