Shelby Jean Himes, 85 years of age, of Lyles, TN, passed away, January 3, 2026, at NHC of Dickson.
Shelby was born December 1, 1940, in Dickson, TN, to the late Milburn and Lula Bell (Capps) Estes.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edward Himes and son-in-law, Ray Griffin.
She is survived by her children, Rita Griffin, Billy (Sue) Hargrove, Keith (Angie) Himes, and Donna (Keith) Caneer; grandchildren, Shannon Griffin, Jeffery Griffin, Noah Hargrove, Logan Himes, Trinity Goad, Cassidy Pritchett, and Kelsey Bass; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 3:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. and on Thursday, January 8, 2026, there will be a brief visitation from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service at 1:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, January 8, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Kenny Stone officiating. Interment will be in Wrigley Cemetery in Lyles, TN.
