Her biggest love was for her Church and Family. Tamela was an active member of the Burns Baptist Church. She loved her church family, especially the children. She was devoted to teaching Sunday School classes for the youth. Tamela loved being a wife, mother, Grammie, and a friend.

These were people that had been a blessing to her, people that had their own trials. Her love for others was reciprocated, she was much loved by all who knew her.
