A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Hood and Pastor Jerry Browning speaking. Place of rest will be in the Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Tilton Leo Moran, age 79 of Dickson, TN died on September 7, 2021.
Leo was born on February 6, 1942 in Humphreys County, TN. He was a son of the late Sylvester and Anna Margaret Felts Moran. He had worked as an electrician for Sullivan Electric and retired from Red Kap Industries. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his family and loved the Lord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Paula Rena Moran, and Marilyn Martin; his sister, Alice Seigler; brothers-in-law, Leo Hagewood, and Dennis Hamm.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Sue Gann Moran; his daughters, Vicky Hood (Jessie), Lisa Shinnaberry (Scott), Dana Logue (David), Sue Hill (David), and Betsy Smith; his brothers, Raymond Moran (Ruth), and Ronzo Moran (Wanda); his sisters, Margaret Carrington (Gary), Margie Hagewood, Birdie Bishop (Joe Bledsoe), Nancy Hamm, and Diane Hotchkiss (Jim); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his “fur baby” Odie.
