Tommy Wayne “T-Bird” Smith of Burns, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, he was 65 years old.
Born in Arkansas he was the son of the late James Charles and Iva Irene Huckabe Smith.
He had worked as Shift Leader at Quebecor. Tommy loved the Atlanta Braves. Other than spending time with his family Tommy’s favorite pastime was hauling junk cars and scrap metal, for anyone who went with him he would always stop and get them a coke and candy bar. The family knows Tommy will be waiting on them with coke and candy bar.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jeanine Woodard Smith of Burns, TN; sons, Randy Wayne Smith (Cheryl) of Burns, TN, Travis Lee Smith (Ginni) Dickson, TN; sisters, Charlene Tucker, Shirley Hunter, Linda McCullough, and Jeanie Parker all of Dickson, TN, Betty Jo Duke of Center Hill Lake, Lois Cathey of McEwen, TN; 8 grandchildren, Austin Smith, Logan Smith, Jaxen Stiltner, Grady Smith, Carter Smith, Jorja Stiltner, Cole Smith, Gavin Brazzell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 22, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Buford Woodard officiating. Place of rest will be in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 21st from 3 to 8 PM and on Monday from 11 AM until time of service. http://taylorsince1909.com
