Twilla Armetta Williams, 84 years of age, passed away April 7, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

She was born October 18, 1941, in Charlotte, TN, to the late Ralph Elroy and Ruby Jo (Proctor) Hagewood.

Twilla lived a life marked by warmth and grace. As she was homemaker within her home for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to her family. Those who knew her best will remember her as a kind, funny, and witty woman with a generous spirit and a gentle heart. She had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and she never met a stranger. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church. Her life reflected the values she held dear, and she carried herself with dignity and sincere devotion. She had many gifts and interests that brought beauty to the world around her. She was artistic and loved to paint, and also had a green thumb and took great pleasure in caring for plants and watching them grow. She was also known for her beautiful handwriting, a reflection of the care and thoughtfulness she put into everything she did. Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy; her family, church, and friends will forever treasure the time they were given with her and the example she set by the way she lived.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Ray Williams and James (Buddy) Luther Weakley; sister, Willa Williams and brother, Doyce Hagewood. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Keith (Debbie) Weakley, Eric (Shea) Weakley, Teresa Weakley, Tonya Holman, Tina (Tim) Brake, Angela (Bruce) Scott, and Jill (Jasen) Billman; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Janice (Kenneth) Biter; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Funeral services will be at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will be Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 PM.; and will resume on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Charlotte, TN.
