Vanessa Gail Riley, age 68 of Dickson, TN Passed Away: on Wednesday, February 07, 2024 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.

One could always find Vanessa in her favorite rocking chair, gently swaying back and forth with a warm smile on her face. It was here that she found solace and comfort, a place where she shared countless stories and made lasting memories with loved ones.

Throughout her life, Vanessa had an undeniable affinity for frogs. They brought her such delight and served as a symbol of transformation and good fortune. Whether it was collecting frog trinkets or observing them in their natural habitat, Vanessa’s appreciation for these creatures knew no bounds.

Playing cards held a special place in Vanessa’s heart. Whether it was a fierce game of poker or a friendly round of Go Fish with her grandchildren, she found immense pleasure in the shared camaraderie that card games brought.

But perhaps one of the greatest joys in Vanessa’s life came from two furry friends who held the key to her heart: Tia and Toodles, her beloved dogs. They were more than pets; they were family members who filled her days with unconditional love and companionship. Anyone who visited Vanessa’s home would witness firsthand the boundless joy these four-legged companions brought to her life.

Although Vanessa adored spending time with Tia and Toodles, nothing could compare to the moments she spent with her grandbabies. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating treasured memories that will be passed down through generations. She showered them with love, kindness, and invaluable wisdom that will forever shape their lives. Her unwavering presence in their lives was a testament to the boundless love she had for her family.

Vanessa will be remembered for many wonderful qualities. Her uplifting nature served as a guiding light for those who sought comfort in times of darkness. She had an innate ability to uplift others, providing encouragement when it was most needed. But it would be remiss not to mention that Vanessa possessed a stubborn streak that matched her unwavering determination. She always spoke her mind fearlessly and passionately, leaving no doubt as to where she stood on any matter.

Vanessa Gail Riley, a beacon of light in a sometimes-dark world, will be remembered for her infectious laughter, loving nature, and unwavering determination. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, resilience, and unyielding authenticity. May her soul find eternal peace as she enters the realm beyond, knowing that her memory will forever be etched within the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
