William “Ray” Brown, age 66, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 22, 1958, in West Nashville, Ray lived a life defined by quiet strength, deep love for his family, and a steady, humble presence. In the 1980s, he married the love of his life, Becky. Together they built a home filled with love and laughter in Bon Aqua, where they raised their family and spent the majority of their life together.

Ray and Becky faced both joy and sorrow with grace and faith. Though they endured the heartbreaking loss of their infant son, Walter, they were blessed to raise five sons and one daughter, all of whom carry forward their parents’ legacy of kindness, hard work, and resilience.

Ray will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his deep roots, and the quiet wisdom he offered to all who knew him. His strength, humility, and love leave an enduring mark on those he leaves behind. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Becky, and their infant son, Walter.

He is survived by his children: Stephen, Jonathan, Jason (Candice), Dana (Heath), Ray (Rayni), and Josh (Holly), as well as numerous grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.

The family would also like to offer their heartfelt thanks to Sharon Ray, a cherished family/friend, whose support has meant more than words can express during this difficult time.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ray’s life will be 6/21/25 @ 1pm. 1809 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia TN 38401.
