Police Chief Jeff Lewis and the Dickson Police Department congratulate David Cole on his promotion to Captain of the Special Services Division.
David Cole has been a Law Enforcement Officer for the last 26 years with the Dickson Police Department and a United States Navy Veteran. Cole has served several positions in the Dickson Police Department to include Patrolman, arrest and security team leader on the departments SRT and the position of Tactical Marksman, and most recently, Lieutenant with the Special Operations Division.
The Special Services Division will comprise community relations; School Resource Officers; grants; and Animal Control.
Captain Cole has earned an A.A.S. in Police Administration through Nashville State Community College and a B.S. Degree in Psychology through Freed Hardeman University. Captain Cole lives in Dickson Tennessee and has been married to his wife, Margaret, for 31 years and they have one adult daughter, Brooke and her husband, Daniel.
