What Makes PORTA Different from Other Frozen Pizzas
Each PORTA pizza starts with 100% Italian flour from Le Marche, sourced from a fourth-generation family-run mill. The dough undergoes a 24-hour slow fermentation process before being hand-stretched and assembled by chefs using traditional techniques. Toppings include vine-ripened tomatoes from Campania and extra virgin olive oil from Puglia. The pizzas are flash frozen at peak freshness and contain no dough conditioners, preservatives, or artificial additives.
Four Varieties Available at Target
Four PORTA pizzas are available at a suggested retail price of $11.99 at participating Target locations and on Target.com:
- Pepperoni — naturally cured pepperoni with fennel, creamy mozzarella, and tomato sauce on a Roman-style crust
- Margherita — Fior di Latte mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil on a Roman-style crust
- Mushroom & Fontina — hand-sliced mushrooms, Fontina cheese, and truffle béchamel made with real Italian truffles on a Roman-style crust
- Sweet & Spicy Soppressata — authentic Italian salami, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and housemade peperoncini honey sauce on a Roman-style crust
