January 2, 2024 – On Saturday, December 30th, Dickson County Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to the Shell gas station at the 172 exit on Highway 46 South in reference to a road rage incident that had occurred on I-40 West Bound, where shots had been fired.
Upon arrival, deputies located all subjects involved and one person was taken into custody. The preliminary investigation reveals two vehicles were involved and shots were fired from both vehicles, with one person being struck.
That subject was taken to Natchez Trace Medical Center, with non-life threatening injuries.
This incident is still an active investigation, with more details to be released at a later time.
