Dickson County Sheriff’s Office is receiving reports of a scam involving an asphalt truck.
The truck, which has “City Wide Asphalt” on the side is approaching people and businesses in the Dickson area offering to pave parking lots and driveways for a discount price due to leftover asphalt.
If you agree to a discount price they will start paving and then demand more money to finish the job.
The dump truck has a Silver Ford 250 driving with it, both have Pennsylvania tags.

Update: We have received conflicting stories about this company, as well as another, Windy City Paving, so we will add this-if you are contemplating doing business with anyone, check their business license, google the company, do some research before handing over your hard-earned money. If you have been scammed by these companies, or anyone, call law enforcement and report it.
