Registration is open for spring baseball and softball through Dickson County Youth Athletic Association (DCYAA).

Families can get a $5.00 discount toward spring registration with code EARLY23, good through January 27, 2023.

What to Know:

• Practices start the first part of March
• Regular season games start the first of April
• Regular season ends the first part of June
• Tournament play starts mid-June, and continues until the last week of July.
• Spring uniforms are provided, and include: jersey, pants, belt, socks, cap
• Spring teams are drafted by the head coach of each team; player/parent requests are not obliged, unless necessary. Players who remain in the SAME AGE GROUP as the previous spring season, will also remain with the same head coach, should that head coach also remain in the same age group. This is limited to a maximum of five players. This means that not ALL players will remain, as to not give any one team an unfair advantage. Parents may choose to enter their child into the open draft, which will protect that child from being chosen by the previous year’s coach. This choice will need to be notated by the registrant in the notes field of the online registration.
• Age cutoffs:
  Baseball: the player’s age on April 30,2023 is the player’s LEAGUE AGE. Age divisions are as follows: 5/6- A, 7/8- AA, 9/10- AAA, 11/12- “O”Zone, 13 & up- Dixie Boys and Majors
  Softball: the player’s age on April 30, 2023 is the player’s LEAGUE AGE. Age divisions are as follows: 5/6- SweeTees, 7/8- Darlings, 9/10- Angels, 11/12- Ponytails, 13/15- Belles, 16/19- Debs
• Ages 8 and under games will be at 6:00pm during the week, and ages 9 and up will play at 7:30pm. Games are usually an hour and a half long, with some exceptions. During the spring, games are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. No play on Wednesdays and Sundays are used for makeup games that have been canceled due to weather.
• Registration fee is $75.00 per player, regardless of whether they live within the city limits of Dickson, outside the city limits of Dickson, or outside Dickson County. Note- the city player service fee that is charged by the City of Dickson has now been imparted on all players, not just the players residing outside the city limits or outside Dickson County. This fee is already included in the registration fee.
• Concession buyout fee (optional) is $25.00 per player. This is for parents who have no desire to volunteer in concessions. This fee is paid to people who are hired to work in concessions when there are no volunteers.
