A teacher at a Dickson County school is facing sexual battery charges, according to WSMV.
Dickson County Sheriff’s Department said Charlotte Middle School teacher Robert Capes turned himself in and was arrested on Friday.
Robert Capes is listed as an eighth-grade science teacher who has been teaching for more than 25 years, according to the the school’s website.
He has been indicted on a charge of sexual battery by an authority figure.
Dickson County Sheriff’s Department did not release details on the Capes’ arrest.
Capes is currently out on bond.
