Old Timers Day Fest returns this weekend and is one of the biggest events of the year for downtown Dickson TN!

Old Timers Day will take place on Saturday, May 4, rain or shine.

Since 1958, Dickson County has been celebrating all things Old Timers with live music, local vendors and a parade.

Old Timers Day was established to honor “Old Timers” within the community. The festival remains to be one of the few “old time” festivals not only in Tennessee, but throughout the entire Southeast region. For the wonderful 65th celebration, the City of Dickson and Dickson County Chamber are partnering to provide a series of musical events, kids’ corner and so much more! The parade will be filled with floats, horse drawn wagons, and much more for your enjoyment.

Parade Route: begins at Dickson County High School, exiting onto North Charlotte Street, turns left at McFarland, then right onto Hwy. 48 continuing down Main Street, takes a left before the Train Depot on Railroad Street, then left onto Church Street, followed by a right on East College Street, ending with left on Academy Street and ends at Dickson Middle School.

Start the day with a Pancake Breakfast at Dickson First United Methodist Church from 6:30am – 9:30am. Tickets are @$12.

New Wave Hobbies will be celebrating May the Fourth with a Star Wars Marathon in their game room starting at 9am! Popcorn will be provided and drinks will be available for $1.
Then at 2PM, they will have a costume contest! Dress up in your favorite Star Wars outfits!
