Beverly Joy Bybee Johnson, age 58 of Dickson, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2022.
Beverly was born September 23, 1963 in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Rev. Jay C. Bybee and Norma Catherine Rushing Bybee.
Having parents that were active in church ministry, meant that she lived in several communities, but Beverly always considered Oak Hill, WV to be her homeplace, the beginning of her upbringing.
She was a graduate of Donelson Christian in Nashville, TN and obtained her BS from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK. In her youth, she spent countless hours playing tennis, and learned to play piano. Beverly was a cancer survivor, affected for life, but determined to live. She enjoyed the beach, but her favorite place was being in the presence of family and friends. Beverly loved Jesus, and her church. She was a loving wife and mother, and a kind friend to everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Gregory Bybee.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kevin T. Johnson; and her daughter, Natalie Anne Johnson. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, three aunts and an uncle.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Calvary Chapel, 1546 Yellow Creek Road, Dickson, TN. Pastor Eric Irwin will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Family and friends are encouraged to stay and fellowship after the service. http://taylorsince1909.com
