Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Water Street Church of Christ in Charlotte, TN. Thomas Southerland and Bobby Speight will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery. FACIAL COVERINGS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.

Ernest, age 78, of Charlotte, TN died peacefully on September 23, 2021 at Tri-Star Horizon Hospital.
He was born in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, and was the son of the late John William and Mary Annie Hagewood Fiser.
Ernest was a graduate of Charlotte High School and was a former employee of H.I.S. in Dickson and Winner Boats. Ernest was always everywhere in the Charlotte and Cumberland Furnace areas. His mother formerly owned a grocery in Cumberland Furnace where he would often help her out as a young man. Farming was really not his forte’ but he really loved their family farm. However, in the early years, he would lend a helping hand to his Dad.
Ernest was a people person. He loved his family and his friends. He loved his church, Water Street Church of Christ, and all of his church family and loved his Lord. He was a good Bible student and knew God’s word.
Ernest lived a simple life. He was a kind, loving, independent, smart, and intelligent soul. One thing that he loved to do was to get involved in a good Rook game and could be very competitive. The profile of his community will forever be changed due to his absence.
He is survived by his brother that he deeply loved; Larry Fiser and his sister-in-law that he deeply loved Dianne Fiser, the apples of his eye, nieces and nephews; Dana Hix (Kevin), Natalie Kelley, Ashley Greggs, and Chris Greggs (Caroline), his great-nieces and nephews; Jack Kelley, Wyatt Kelley, Brett Kelley, Kalen Hix, Avery Hix, and Camille Greggs.
