Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ila Beatrice Buttrey Martin, age 98 years, of White Bluff, TN, passed from this life on December 7, 2021, at NHC of Dickson.
She was born in Dickson County on March 13, 1923 to the late W.B. and Eddie Lee Larkins Buttrey. She was a devoted member of the White Bluff Church of Christ for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Martin; her brothers: Julian Buttrey, Roscoe Buttrey, and Reuben Buttrey; and her sister: Bessie Bradley.
Survivors include her daughter: Paula Martin Thornhill of Fairhope, AL; her son: Gerald Ross Martin of Huntsville, AL; her brother: Calvin Buttrey (Freddie) of Lenoir City, TN; her sister: Eddie Lee King (Lyle) of Arab, AL; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
