Jack Robert Fleet, age 95 of Vanleer, TN, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026. Born in Dickson County on July 29, 1930 he was the son of the late George Allen and Lillie Margaret Waynick Fleet and was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Mattie Louise Herbison Fleetm his son, Danny Ray Fleet, his siblings, Rosie Fleet, John Allen Fleet, Estelle Chappell, Bonnie Tuberville, Dosey Fleet, Mattie Hayes, Charles Fleet and James Junior Fleet.
Jack had worked in Construction, as a Sawmill Worker and he was a farmer. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Doyle Fleet, David Harold Fleet (Arlene); 6 grandchildren, Jamie Amis (Anthony), Johnathan David Fleet, Amanda Hartman, Charles Hartman, Stephanie Hartman, Kenneth Waynick; 8 great grandchildren, Alexis Slate, Paige Slate, Lily Amis, Knox Amis, Kansas Hartman, Colson Hartman, Parker Waynick, Journey Waynick; great-great grandchild, Kyler Jacob; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday April 8, 2026 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday April 7th from 4 to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 1 PM until time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
