Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Frank Whitaker officiating. Place of rest will be in the Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 5th from 2 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service.
Jessie Douglas Felts, age 90 of Dickson, TN passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of the late Marshall Luther and Bessie Mae Fleet Felts and was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Henry Felts; his sisters, Ina Reynolds, Anna Moran, Velma Brooks, Ruby Brooks, Voicie Fisher; his brothers, Johnny Felts, Willie Felts, Ewing Felts. Jessie was a retired Dozier Operator and a Farmer. He was a member of the Dickson First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Felts of Dickson, TN; son, Barry Douglas Felts of Dickson, TN; daughter, Donna Felts Jones (Derrick) of Dickson, TN; step-children, Melinda A. Dutton (Wesley) of Dickson, TN, Steven G. Heggie of Dover, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Jones (Caleb Whitaker), Phillip Jones; step-granddaughter, Skyla Morgan; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Triston & Caleb Brown.
