Kevin Chris Balsley went to his heavenly glory on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his home in White Bluff, Tennessee.
Kevin was born on May 29, 1963 in Fairmont, MN and was raised in Morton, MN.
He graduated from Morton High School where he excelled at football, basketball, and baseball. He served 14 years in the US Army National Guard and worked as a heavy equipment Operating Engineer for many years.
Kevin enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially a day on the lake fishing. He will be remembered by those that loved him for his humor, his generous heart, and his intense love for his family and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Lorene Blom Balsley; his father Earl Balsley; his brother Michael Balsley, and his sister Debra Balsley.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 20 years, Michelle Freis Balsley; his daughter Nickole Balsley of New Prague, MN; his son, Cole Balsley of Garvin, MN; his sister Paulette Thompson of Morton, MN; his sister Dawn Maertens of Morton, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his many pets, who he loved caring for and who brought him so much joy.
Services will be held at St John Lutheran Church in Burns, TN and Zion Lutheran Church in Morton, MN (days and times to be determined).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kevin’s memory to Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue in Burns, TN.
