Martha Jo Grubbs Burnau, age 82 of Burns, TN, passed from this life on March 28, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 10, 1943, in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Harvey Grubbs and Wreatha Boyer Grubbs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Angela Elaine Burnau; her brothers: Raymond Grubbs and Glen Grubbs; and sister: Doris Call.
Survivors her husband: Don Burnau of Burns, TN; her children: Liz Wall (Chris) of Dickson, TN, Marianne Moschella (Vince) of Sarasota, FL, and John Burnau of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters: Violet Unruh and Elaine Ellis, both of Warsaw, IN; her grandchildren: Alex Gibbs (Anna) of Inman, SC, Feron Wall of Nashville, TN, Braden Wall (Abby) of Chattanooga, TN, and Nathan Wall of Clarksville, TN; and her great-grandchildren: Emmie Gibbs, Boone Gibbs, and Price Gibbs.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Allen officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service.
