Melvin Lee Johnson, 69 years of age, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence of Lyles, TN.
The Williamson County Native was the son of the late Joe T. Johnson and Amy (Powell) Johnson of Santa Fe, TN. He worked for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts for many years. He loved to work on cars, however the joy of his heart was with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, William Johnson and Donald Johnson; and a grandson, Hunter Lee Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Amy June Bradford of Lyles, TN, and Julie May Johnson Savage of Columbia, TN; son-in-law, John Timothey Savage of Columbia, TN; granddaughters, Emma Raelynn Bradford, Shelby Lea Bradford, and Eliza Thomasson; grandson, Austin Savage; sister-in-law, Therese Johnson of Columbia, TN; nephew, Kent Johnson of Kentucky; niece, Natalie Johnson of Columbia, TN; an honorary grandchildren, Tera Jade King, William Petty, Caitlin Bowdoin, and Emily Pritchard.
Those considering, donations can be made to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.

A Memorial Visitation and Service will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service at 2:00 P.M.
