Paula Faye Atkins of Charlotte, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, she was 57 years old.
Born in Nashville, TN she was the daughter of Brenda Heflin Atkins and the late James Kenneth Atkins.
Paula was a spirited, sweet soul. Her heart was even bigger than her smile. She had a talent at creative design and making things as beautiful and unique as she was. Carefree and active most of her life, she was always ready for the next adventure.
As her health declined in later years, she spent her time and talents designing her dream home. She spent many hours searching for just that special item to make her house a warm and welcoming place for her to relax and find peace. As time went by, and her quality of life diminished, she still held onto the dream of having a place to call her own, filled with things that expressed the many sides of her personality.
Paula now joins the host of lost loved ones and friends who have left this world for the hereafter. She has shed the restraints that held her back and has inherited her Heavenly mansion.
Survivors include her son, John Dalton Howell and his fiancé, Jessica Fauscette of Charlotte, TN; mother, Brenda Heflin Atkins of Charlotte, TN; brother, John M. Atkins of Charlotte, TN; uncle and aunt, Bruce and Barbara Heflin of Clarksville, TN; aunt, Pat Heflin of Dover, TN; half-brother to John Dalton, Jackson Howell of Fairview, TN; very special friend, Wayne Lovett of Charlotte, TN; many cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 1 PM at Dickson County Memorial Gardens inside the Memorial Crematory Chapel with Bro. Eric Limbo and Jake Lockhart officiating. Following the Celebration of Life, the family will receive friends at the White Bluff United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4537 Hwy 70, White Bluff, TN 37187.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White Bluff United Methodist Church Martha’s Group, P.O. Box 75, White Bluff, TN 37187.
