Phillip McCoy Seals, of Dickson, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at his home, he was 64 years old.
He was born in Dickson County, son of the late Hobert McCoy and Doye Tidwell Seals.
He was a graduate of Dickson County Senior High School, class of 1975. He was a plumber by trade and worked in maintenance with the Dickson County Board of Education. He started when Creek Wood High School was built and served there and finished his time in White Bluff. He was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother Anthony Wayne Seals.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years; Cindy Batey Seals of Dickson, TN, his daughter; Brittany Seals Floyd and her husband Jason of Gallatin, TN, his three grandchildren; Bryce Matthew Floyd, Ellyott Grace Floyd, and Emmersyn McCoy Floyd, his four sisters; Reba Smith and her husband, Eddie of Beaumont, TX, Faye Meadows and her husband, Tom of Dickson, TN, Linda Cashion of Dickson, TN and Martha Downing of Bon Aqua, TN, several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, March 7, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Weller and Rev. Ed White will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. http://taylorsince1909.com
