Steven Eugene “Steve” Tipton, age 70 of McEwen, TN passed away on December 16, 2025 at Dickson Health and Rehab. Steve was born on August 3, 1955. He was a son of the late Kenneth and Lois Harrison Tipton.
He was a dedicated employee for 28 years at the Dickson Methodist Church. He was simple man. He enjoyed taking long walks, especially walks with his grandsons. He loved being around his family and he enjoyed participating in activities and events with them, even if it was just a quick trip to the store. He enjoyed a cold Dr. Pepper while watching M*A*S*H, the Simpsons or working on a word search or crossword puzzle.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his sons, David Tipton and Steven Tipton; his daughter, Leann Tipton Sanders; his brothers, Kerry Tipton, Billy Tipton, Mark Tipton, and Adam Tipton; 3 grandsons, Tyrus, Brantley, and Walker; 1 great grandchild.
