Funeral services will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Genevia Graham officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 6th from 3 to 8 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dickson County Humane Society.
Susan, age 54, of White Bluff, TN passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. Born in Dickson, TN, she was the daughter of John Spicer and the late Henryetta Owens and was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Spicer. She had worked at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Dickson.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Bennett (William) of Dickson, TN; husband, Dwayne Smith of Burns, TN; step-daughters, Jenni Moore (Justin) of Dickson, TN, Jessi Smith (Clifford Stokes) of Dickson, TN; father, John Spicer of Charlotte, TN; brothers, Brooks Spicer of White Bluff, TN, Dean Spicer (Aritha) of Charlotte, TN; sisters, Sandra Lee (Rod) of Knoxville, TN, Stephanie Walker (Kenny) of Burns, TN; 6 grandchildren, Carter Bennett, Aurora Stokes, Natalee Harrison, Lizzy Stokes, Spike Stokes, Titus Stokes; and several nieces and nephews.
