Tommie Dalton Smith, age 78 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and formerly of the McEwen area, passed away on February 28, 2025, at Baptist Healthcare Hospital of Little Rock.
He was born on December 18, 1946, in McEwen, TN, to the late Earl T. Smith and Annie Lee Hatcher Smith. He was a member of the Sylvia Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Smith; his brothers: Randall Smith, Clayton Wayne Smith, Nelson Smith, and Harvey Smith; and his sisters: Rosella Ross, Kathleen Smith, and Carolyn Smith.
Survivors include his daughters: Anissa Smith Farag (Steven) of Milford, PA, and Kathleen Smith of Dickson; his brothers: Earl T. Smith, Jr. (Juanita) of Bon Aqua and Rawleigh Smith of Waverly; his grandchildren: Connor Gopar and Isabella Gopar. Also surviving are his 2 dogs: Jake and Wiggles; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the High View Cemetery in McEwen. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 5, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service. https://taylorsince1909.com
