Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 12 noon in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibbs Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Vickie Lynn Sims, age 54 of Dickson, TN passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Michigan on December 5, 1966, to the late James Herbert and Agnes Chandler Sims. She worked at Wal-Mart in Dickson for several years.
In addition to her parents, Vickie is preceded in death by her sister: Candy Frisbey.
Survivors include her lifelong companion: James “Junior” Simpson of Dickson; her sisters: Pip Matthews (Clay) of Dickson, Robin Glennon (Tim) of Nashville, and Tina Schwarzinger (Frank) of White Bluff; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
