William Paul Miller, age 80, of Dickson, TN, passed away on July 31, 2024.
William was born in Cumberland Furnace, TN, on March 7, 1944, to the late Verlie Douglas Miller and Myna Estelle Wall Miller.
William served in the United States Army and was a retired Sergeant with the City of Dickson Police Department. He served with the Dickson Police Department from 1986 until 2005. William was a big cut-up and loved being with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors on the tractor and mowing. He was a wonderful man and was married to Charlotte for 57 years. He would always say, “Charlotte, baby you can always count on me.” He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Dana Darlene Miller, his brothers; Douglas Eugene Miller, James Thurman Miller, Jackie Alan Miller, his sisters; Annis J. Hardin, Lena Nadine Stout, and Virginia Estelle Manns.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte J. Prater Miller of Dickson, TN, daughters; Debbie Miller of Centerville, TN, Denise Miller (Nick Broadway) of Dickson, TN, grandchildren; William Andrew Jackson, Ryan Austin Lee, Riley Mason Garrett, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, at 2 PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor Wes Sesler will officiate. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 2 PM until 6 PM. https://taylorsince1909.com
