Tennessee State has released its 2026-27 Ohio Valley Conference men’s basketball schedule. The defending OVC champions will open conference play Dec. 11 on the road before wrapping up the regular season in late February ahead of the OVC Tournament. More Sports News
Tennessee State Opens OVC Play on the Road
Conference play begins Dec. 11 at Western Illinois. The Tigers then travel to Southern Indiana on New Year’s Eve and Eastern Illinois on Jan. 2 before returning to Nashville.
Tigers Host Three Straight in January
Tennessee State’s conference home opener is Jan. 7 against Western Illinois. TSU follows that with home games against SIUE on Jan. 9 and Morehead State on Jan. 16.
Road Swing Leads Into Late January Home Games
The Tigers hit the road for games at Lindenwood on Jan. 21 and Southeast Missouri on Jan. 23 before closing January at home against Southern Indiana on Jan. 28 and UT Martin on Jan. 30.
February Schedule Mixes Home and Road Games
February opens with Lindenwood visiting the Gentry Center on Feb. 4. Tennessee State then travels to Morehead State on Feb. 6 before hosting Eastern Illinois on Feb. 11.
Tigers Close Regular Season with Road Games
TSU finishes the regular season at SIUE on Feb. 17 and at UT Martin on Feb. 25, with the regular season home finale against Southeast Missouri on Feb. 27.
OVC Tournament Set for Evansville in March
The 2027 OVC Men’s Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 4-6 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
