Johnny Rickey Hunter, age 76, of Dickson, TN passed away peacefully on May 21,2024.
Johnny was born January 19, 1948, in Dickson, TN to Anthony and Christine Moore Hunter.
Johnny’s early years were spent growing up in Charlotte, TN. After graduating from Charlotte High School in 1966, he went on to study Business at Austin Peay State University.
In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother Ralph Hunter and sister Jean Holley.
Mr. Hunter is survived by his loving wife, Diana Spencer Hunter, his daughter Kimberly Woods of Franklin, his stepchildren Steve Sensing (Bonnie) of Burns, TN and Julie Sensing of Cumberland Furnace, TN. 6 grandchildren, Gavin Woods, Alex Woods, Ysabella Woods, Baker Sensing, Spencer Sensing, and Grant Escue. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Paisley and Silas Escue.
The biggest smile and loudest laugh were when he was spending time with his family and being “John John” to his grandchildren.
